I am just starting and I want one with an amplifier .
Well, you don’t have to get a value pack. Usually they just give you a bunch of crap in there you don’t need. But if you really want want there’s a few good ones.
I’m just gonna give you a link to musicians friend. I would either go with the Fender, Epiphone, or Ibanez packs. The Epiphone and Ibanez would be good for heavier music. The Laguna is pretty good too.
Also consider going to guitar center and buying separate. There’s various amps you can buy for 100 bucks such as a line 6 spider, a peavey vyper, and a crate flexwave. Then you could search for guitars priced low to high on musicians friend and guitar center. If I were you I would go to guitar center, buy a 100 bullet strat or an Ibanez GRX20, a 100 dollar line 6, and then hit them up for a free cable. You can wheel and deal them there. That way you don’t have to spend money on instructional DVD’s, headphones, and crap you don’t really need.

I have an electric guitar that I like to play praise and worship songs on. So most of the time I am playing chords, but I can’t seem to get that acoustic sound that makes the chords sound so good. Any suggestions?
Please don’t say buy an acoustic guitar.
Thanks!
I think there are pedals for that. Also, you can change the tone and set a mild distortion on the amp if you can.
Please, check my question:

I’m speaking in terms of making hip hop music. I am thinking of getting pro tools as the computer program, but what else do I need?
Please provide a laundry list, I have no idea where to start. (I am looking to spend less than 500)
Thank you!
alright nevermind the budget thing, just im not looking for top of the line celebrity stuff
You don’t need to even spend $500 to get started.
You don’t need the full Pro Tools to get started either. There are less expensive packages out there too:

You might start with a "computer audio interface" – they usually come with basic software:

Good mic:

Start small and work your way up. You don’t have to spend a lot to get started and have some fun.

Can somebody identify the musical instruments in this Botero painting?

Um… I see a Tuba, basoon, Violin, Cello, and a Clarinet…I’m not sure what the guitar-like intruments in the front are though.

i want to get a guitar online and be able to select a paint job for it and hardware…specifically EMG chrome pickups…any sites i can do that on?
There is full custom and semi-custom.
I would consider Carvin a semi-custom (www.carvin.com). Pick out all the details, and you get your price right there.
Jackson Guitars (www.jacksonguitars.com) got their big break building for Randy Rhodes. They still have a custom shop. You can’t order on line, but you can build parts list and then order.
Plus one for the Peavey custom shop.
After that, you start getting into very limited production luthiers, and a whole lot of money!!
Greetings from Austin, TX

How much would this bundle sell for?
Hello there,
Please do not get your hopes up about getting a good price for a used First Act guitar. I looked on eBay and only the VW models bring much on resale.
For example, here is one that has 16 hours left on the auction at the time I looked at it. No one has made the opening $20 bid.

Here is another one that sold recently. It had 4 bids on it and sold for $14.50.

I looked at the amps also, they do not bring much. Based on what I saw on eBay. If you get $50 you will be lucky.
Good luck,
