What company makes the best bass guitars?

Posted by admin on February 26th, 2010

One that would sound good when playing heavy metal or thrash metal.

What you should really be asking is, "What bass will be able to play whatever I need to play?"

No offense, but your questions is silly, as a bass can only sound like what you want it to. If you’ve got an imagination, you can pull off any sound on almost any bass.

I would recommend any bass with a 3-band EQ because these basses are more VERSATILE, not more METAL.

I’m a metalhead, and I play on a Fender Active Jazz Deluxe and an Ibanez SR655PB. They don’t really look metal, but they can sure play it.

There is no universal tone for metal, only what the song calls for.

What kind of electric acoustic guitar should I get?

Posted by admin on February 26th, 2010

I’m not experienced at all. So just answer what electric acoustic guitar would be good for me. If you need more details, ask in a answer.

You need to have a clear goal in mind of what type of music do you want to play, for instance, I wouldn’t recommend a Gibson steel string acoustic/electric if you wanted to play Spanish style classical. But if you were JUST starting as a beginner, looking to play soft rock, alternative, or even country, I would recommend the Gibson or it’s little offspring beginner’s guitar, EPIPHONE. If you wanted to play some classical and plug in once in awhile, then I would recommend perhaps a Takamine or it’s offspring, the Jasmine. They also do steel strings. I must say, that the sound you are looking for is NOT in my head but yours, go to a guitar center store and try some guitars in your price range and style. If you can, take a friend who plays with you.

What is a really easy guitar song i can learn online?

Posted by admin on February 24th, 2010

I’ve been teaching myself the acoustic guitar online but I don’t know which songs are easiest?
where should i start?

If you know the basic guitar chords there are loads of nice songs you can play. Here’s a few:

Amazed by Lonestar
Breathing by Lifehouse
Clocks by Coldplay
Dreams by The Cranberries
First Cut Is The Deepest by Cat Stevens
Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen
Here Without You by Three Doors Down
Horse With No Name by America
Hotel California by The Eagles
House of the Rising Sun by The Animals
Pianoman by Billy Joel
Please Forgive Me Bryan Adams
Wonderwall by Oasis

This site has the chords for most of these songs and some other easy ones. It’s in an Ebook you can download…

How many of you bought a guitar to learn, but only played it a few times so now it collects dust or it’s sold?

Posted by admin on February 24th, 2010

It seems like a lot of people do this, hence all the guitars for sale on craigslist.

You know, just as I read this, I noticed my lonely guitar in the corner. I’ve been meaning to learn to play for so long. Maybe I should work on it tonight.

What’s the most significant differences with the Ibanez AEB10E and the AEB5E acoustic bass guitars?

Posted by admin on February 24th, 2010

I’m thinking of getting one, but the AEB5E is way cheaper, yet I don’t see a very significant difference. Or is it?

I believe the AEB10E has an onboard tuner. I think the pickups are different. Nothing too different. The only guitar I play is Ibanez, so I say either one. If you want to save money, go for the cheaper one.
