Dobson without any …
Dobson without any doubt does a fantastic job. I wonder how
an E-Guitar would sound like played by him. A few days ago
I noticed somebody presenting the Caprice#5 on an E-Guitar
in an absolutely convincing manner, obviously left handed
and as it seems to me playing the Guitar upside down. What
a handicap! A remarkable character this Heiko Jaeger and
his Trailer 2010.

I believe Steve …
I believe Steve played what you see him play as Jack Butler & that’s it. What you see is what you get from Steve in the movie. I read an article where he mentioned that hardest pert for him was to screw up at the end in a convincing manor when he lost the duel. So yes. Steve did cop some of the Paganini riffs but on his electric guitar as seen being played by Jack Butler.

that makes no sense. it’s a Caprice, not a bb king’s tune. Furthermore it’s paganini, it’s etude-esque in nature and totally appropriate to be played like this.
