if you haven’t commit to any previous instruments,
then that is maybe why your dad wants to get you a cheap one.

With these tips, I would go to pawn shops, I just found a Epiphone Dove acoustic (GIBSON imitation) with soft case for $300. Epiphones build great guitars that don’t have the Gibson price tag.

I got rid of my Yamaha acoustic… it was decent…. Good luck on your search.
