My boyfriend spends most of his time with his band and i want to get him a new guitar or some kind of accessory. I myself don’t know much about guitars. His latest guitar is a Epiphone les paul? Help! what would he like?
my budget it up to about $$6-700
he was telling me how he got this thing..i don’t know what it is :] but it has a bunch of effects for his guitar…idk something cool like that maybe.

I think the best place to look for a cheap but good guitar is in the pawn shops where you can examine it, try it yourself, and bargain for the price. Many musicians sold good used guitars to the pawn shops. Go for it, you will get a cheap but good one.

Our band is looking around for an electric guitar that has good quality all around and isn’t too expensive ($200-400) for a small medium church 200-300 members. Our church band plays contemporary worship music and some latin rhythms too. Please help suggestions are always good.

For that type of music a Fender Stratocaster or one of the many copies would work great. A very versatile guitar. The MIM (Made in Mexico) Fenders are one of the best deals out there. They do sell for $499 but used ones are easy to find in the $300 – $400 range. Personally I’d go that route before buying a $300 – $400 Ibanez, Epiphone, etc.
