Does anyone know of or have a bass guitar for sale?

What’s your budget? Ebay and craigslist have tons of great deals. If you want to go new but still get a good deal SX basses are great for the money. Many good reviews on them, and some cool youtube videos too.

Acoustic guitars for 30-40 bucks?

There are quite a few beginner acoustic guitars for sale on ebay for around 30 to 40 bucks. Is this good? I would like to buy one but I’m on a tight budget, but I also don’t want a piece of total junk. So, are these prices okay for beginner guitars? Thanks in advance!!!
Yes and no — you need to be careful of second hand guitars because if they weren’t properly taken care of the neck might be warped. When this happens you have to put a lot of pressure on the strings to get the right sound from them. It makes it hard for beginners to actually enjoy learning how to play.
I bought my kid a guitar a few years ago and it ran me a little over a hundred dollars. But you can get a new one on clearance from Sam Ash — for about $60. Please visit the link listed as my source– also you can search for music stores on the web you might come across a sale. Try to stick with nylon strings in the beginning– metal ones can cut your fingers to shreds if you haven’t built up callouses.
are guitar center online sale prices the same as the actual store price?

and if not
can i haggle them them to give me the online price?(which is cheaper)
another question:
when it says msrp:$___ is that the price they sell it for at the actual store or is that something else
Not always. most of their stuff is used (guitars and drums main;y) so you could bargain the price
MSRP is basically the value of it.

I know that you are not supposed to ask for things, but I am looking for a Japan-made Ibanez or USA-made Epiphone. I am looking for my son and he is really excited about this, he loves music. Do you have any links to craigs-list or ebay that are in good condition. I do not need an amplifier.
Please Reply with good and serious answers!?
You can ask for anything you like!
It would help though if we knew what kind of guitar your son is looking for. I don’t understand why the Yamaha must be of Japanese manufacture and the Epi U.S. made. I have two Japanese Epiphones and love them both. Haven’t met a Yamaha yet that I would purchase.
You already mentioned Craig’s List and eBay and you can certainly search for guitars there, but it would probably be a lot easier and safer to just visit some guitar shops that deal in used instruments.
Furthermore, your son should have a hand in choosing that guitar. In fact, unless you’re an expert player yourself, your son should have the final word. You cannot possibly know how his hands feel on a guitar, or what it feels like in his arms. In general, I avoid encouraging anyone to buy a musical instrument for another unless you give them a check or gift certificate and let them do the picking (no pun intended, but I’m not gonna fret about it).
I’d set a budget amount and get your son involved in the shopping and purchase. That way, it’s still your gift to your son, and it’s more likely he’ll be happier longer with this first guitar.
Best of luck!

How many of you bought a guitar to learn, but only played it a few times so now it collects dust or it’s sold?

It seems like a lot of people do this, hence all the guitars for sale on craigslist.
You know, just as I read this, I noticed my lonely guitar in the corner. I’ve been meaning to learn to play for so long. Maybe I should work on it tonight.
