I want to learn how to play. I want quality names such as Fender or Kramer, etc, but I don’t want to spend over $200 on a guitar to start out with. I’m looking toward a white guitar. We have a guitar store in town, but its nearing out of business and its selection is dwindling. Any ideas?

Not only are they inexpensive, but they are also a real "brick and mortar" business.

i already have the white one that came with my guitar hero ||| but sometimes the wammy doesnt work. are there better guitars out there?
Yes there will be in fact new Guitars coming out in stores. But Im not sure when they will be out. If you don’t wanna wait for the new guitars to come out in stores, just buy the regular Guitar from any store that holds them in stock. Like Gamestop, Target, Kmart, Best Buy, etc.

What’s the Best online shop for buying "Ibanez" Style guitars
IN THE UK
ibanez.com. or musiciansfriend.com. or guitarcenter.com. looking into diverse catalogs on musiciansfriend.com will give you a pretty good idea of other manufacturers styles and sounds similar to an ibanez. u.s. companies, but ibanez should be able to find you a dealer, or at least one willing to ship to the uk. both of the others do.

I’ve been teaching myself the acoustic guitar online but I don’t know which songs are easiest?
where should i start?
If you know the basic guitar chords there are loads of nice songs you can play. Here’s a few:
Amazed by Lonestar
Breathing by Lifehouse
Clocks by Coldplay
Dreams by The Cranberries
First Cut Is The Deepest by Cat Stevens
Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen
Here Without You by Three Doors Down
Horse With No Name by America
Hotel California by The Eagles
House of the Rising Sun by The Animals
Pianoman by Billy Joel
Please Forgive Me Bryan Adams
Wonderwall by Oasis
This site has the chords for most of these songs and some other easy ones. It’s in an Ebook you can download…

I know NOTHING about guitars and my boyfriend wants one. I tried asking friends but they send me to musicians friend which are over priced. Some told to to look at Ibanez or Ovation. and i know he likes Ovations. i want to find him one that says "I love you, here’s a great guitar, but don’t have a lot of money" im looking for nothing over $200… that i can use paypal with
any ideas?
Guitar Center
www.guitarcenter.com
or try Ebay
edit…I just re-read… You’re looking for and acoustic electric guitar. A Gretsch hollowbody would be good, but they are a little pricey – you could find a good deal by checking e-bay, craigslist etc.
If you have one near you, Music Go Round is great too!!
Good luck!!

i want to buy an esp guitar but none of the local retailers sell them, do you think it would be safe to buy online and get a good guitar?
It’s always best to play a guitar before you buy it. But, sometimes you have you heart set on something and you know you want it. Musiciansfriend.com does great shipping and the product is always in great shape. They also have a return policy if you dno’t happen to like your purchase.
But, I’d say its a safe bet if thats what you want. My buddy ordered a bass off of musiciansfriend.com that he never played, got it and loved it.
Good luck

I want to learn how to play the guitar via online lessons
does anyone have any that they would recommend to me?
Ultimate Guitar .com, Cyberfret.com
The best and easiest way to learn is with lessons from a good local instructor. Nothing is better then someone sitting in the same room with you explaining exactly what you need to know and whom you can ask a specific question. Only a instructor sitting there with you can point out that you are holding your hand or fingers wrong and show you exactly how to correct it. Only a real instructor can gauge your progress from week to week and give you feedback on your progress
