First check out the yellow pages under Musical Instruments for places that sell used instruments. Other places to look are Blue Bird Music stores or the classified ads.

dude, the best place to shop for electric guitars is on-line. one of the popular sites is http://www.musiciansfriend.com, there are other sites, and if you really want to buy a good guitar, and less expensive, you need to shop around different sites. you need to first decide what brand you want, compare them, then find the retailer who has a cheaper price, either on-line or locate a store near you, is up to you.
