Depends how much you wish to spend. As a beginner I would go for a yamaha. You can pick one up for about £125 but if you want better quality Im afraid the price goes up theres a Warlock Bass for £3069.00! Yamaha's are very good quality for Bass though go out and test some ^^

well i got me a Yamaha and it is really nice
it runed me a little over 2 hundred
so go to your local guitar store
and check them out

What’s your budget? Ebay and craigslist have tons of great deals. If you want to go new but still get a good deal SX basses are great for the money. Many good reviews on them, and some cool youtube videos too.
