    This is guy is …
This is guy is properbly the only person who can make any amp sound bad. STOP, turning your stupid volume down all the time. Show us some famous riffs, instead of the D, Cadd9, G all the time! And your “brushing the strings” blues licks…
Play like you mean it, man!

    Go Andy!

  8. iml337rofl Says:

    not really. tube …
not really. tube give a better tone but there are lots of factors that affect the tubes of an amp so you’ll get diff sounds somtimes.

  9. wagatabuchunga1 Says:

    you mean 18 watts …
you mean 18 watts is like 100 watts…….this amp is just as loud as my 100 watt solid state

  10. wagatabuchunga1 Says:

    why wouldnt you …
why wouldnt you want all tube………???? that makes no sense to me….its like saying you would rather have a hyundai than a ferrari

  11. maugbj Says:

    search for ‘ …
search for ‘echoplex demo’ and hit the top one if you want to how a clean tone should sound! (in my opinion of course)

  12. iml337rofl Says:

is this all tube? i dont really want all tube.

  13. rumble54daddyo Says:

    Takes lotsa pedals …
Takes lotsa pedals really well, and it was a secret weapon for 70s arena bands — huge, empty stacks out front, and a Rat pedal and a mic’d DR on a folding chair behind’em — but it’s a roots/blues/country amp, really.

Lotsa good smaller Marshalls up these days, for what you want, and Peaveys, too, for about the same change as a DR — or less..

  14. xdivinebladex Says:

    wasn’t talking …
wasn’t talking about his actual deluxe reverb demo. i was talking about when he demos some heavy dist pedals he uses the deluxe reverb.

  15. FenderMeddle94 Says:

    Andy is’nt using …
Andy is’nt using any overdrivepedals in his deluxe reverb demo, it’s tube overdrive. Sounds really good if you ask me :P

  16. jonafun516 Says:

oh YA! this is a …
oh YA! this is a tube amp. so 18 watts is more like 25. I’ve got a blues jr, and it’s loud enough for several gigs. if you want to do coffie house type, more than good enough. or small to medium venues. for example a gym at a Public high school.

  17. jazbang1 Says:

    would the clean …
would the clean sound in the normal channel be loud enough for gigs?

  18. jtmoney8884 Says:

somebody get him a glass of water!!!

  19. xdivinebladex Says:

    andy over at …
andy over at proguitarshopdemos used some heavy dist pedals in front of this amp and i thought it sounded great. so as you can probably see this amp and the one you have get the job done just fine.

  20. raquel1234ful Says:

i was going to get …
i was going to get a pre amp i was thinking like a quad or a studio pre maybe even a tri axis but then i thought lets go check out the twin reverb at long and mcquade so i tried out what i thought what was to be a twin reverb and really liked it and took it home to find out i actually purchased the twin 100 watt amp w/tubes and i must say this is a really amazing amp i can pull of nirvana alice in chains pudlle of mudd led zeppelin any thing with a good clean sounnd cause i use a distortion box.

  21. sleepysam52 Says:

    if your gona play …
if your gona play punk and grunge i definetly wouldnt get it. id either get a pre amp distortion amp maybe one of those peaveys. or if you want a good clean tone go for a twin reverb its stays clean for loud and takes pedals well

  22. raquel1234ful Says:

    does this amp sound …
does this amp sound good with a distortion pedal infront of it cause i play punk rock music and grunge and occasionly metal i was just wondering can it take a litle grid into its sound ?
