Yes, it is a solid state amp. Solid state circuits are circuits that do not contain electromechanical or gas or vacuum tube components. Unless it has a tube preamp or tube power amplifier stage it is solid state.

it depends on what you do like me ive been playing for a year too but instead of just learning songs i took lessons from the website this guy created (Nextlevelguitar(dot)com) and i can play in almost every key including the modes which if you want to write songs and be in a band i suggest you do like i feel im better than one of my friends whos been playing for 5 years but thats because he never learned modes and all that i also suggest downloading backing tracks any other questions pm me

if u are slow …
if u are slow practise the trem picking at single string for a week or smthng and then practise alternate picking and all finger combinations u will be playing like a pro in about 2-3 years if u practise for about 2-3 hours a day every day.

I have a STORM 30 …
I have a STORM 30 amp, added reverb and Distortion, effects loop, 3 channels.. But at my school we have a Roland cube 60. And I want one! I dont know if they have the same effects loops, and foot pedal jacks and such.. But its got some really cool inbuilt effects..
