I have found that with an electric guitar an electric amp works best, providing your bills are regularly paid.
Running out of power in the middle of a masterful concerto can be mind blowing, which is often the case with a gasoline amp.
Coal burning amps are ideal if you are looking for a certain kind of atmosphere.

None are best. A hand wired valve amp may cost top dollar but I don’t think the Stooges had a ‘Bad Cat’ , ‘Plexi’ , AC30 or ‘Nomad’!

If it sounds good it is???

No guitar amp ever had its hand up the back of a girls jumper cause it had point to point wiring.

the guitar player may have but that’s ’cause he looked good.

I have had better sounds from my cheap amps than my expensive ones. I was not underwater at the time.

get a used little pig amp I think

$40 maybe, its good for mobility too
