Violin, cello, piano, guitar, drums. Violin is one of the hardest instruments to sound well. Having said this, some find violin easier than the guitar and this is determined by how much you love the instrument. I found guitar and piano easy. Then again, others may find it hard.
References :
Berklee Teacher / Luthier & Studio Guitarist

Hardest to get a nice sound out of (and thus easiest to stick with) must be violin. Violin is very shrill anyway, but even harder to get a nice tune out of straight away because there's no frets to guide you to where the exact note is, (you'll be fine if you can sing though as this means u got a musical ear). Cello is, a nicer mellower sound with more area to each note.

Easiest is prob piano. It was a toss up between that n guitar but I decided piano because a single note played on a piano can sound beautiful and unlike guitar, practicing doesn't hurt your fingertips at first to the point of bleeding!

Note sure about drums. Never tried them.
